FAQ

Can I play Open-World Crime × Voxel online for free?
Yes. Block City runs in your browser with WebGPU or WebGL2. It's free, there's no account, and you don't need any game files. Desktop builds come from its GitHub releases.
Is it made from the original games?
No. Every mechanic is a clean-room implementation written from observed behaviour and published values, with original code and CC0 or self-made assets. The modes are inspired by 2004-era open-world crime games and voxel sandbox games.
How is this different from Minecraft in GTA V?
Minecraft in GTA V (universal-modder) links or rewrites the original games, so you need to own them and run it on a PC. This tribute recreates the same mechanics from scratch, so it runs instantly in a browser with no game files.
