Minecraft in GTA V (universal-modder)

Steve gliding an elytra over Los Santos and the Nether spreading through the city, built with an open toolkit for pointing AI coding agents at any game.

The Minecraft-in-GTA V clips (an elytra glide through Los Santos, the Nether spreading over the city, Minecraft mobs fighting the LSPD) came out of universal-modder, the most-starred repository of the wave.

It isn’t a single mod. It’s a toolkit: a set of agent skills, tools and a shared knowledge base that lets an AI coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and others) find a game you own, work out its engine, build a mod, generate art, 3D and sound with fal, test it in the running game and cut the showcase video. It also writes down what it learned for the next agent.

There’s no packaged release of the GTA mods. You build them yourself with the toolkit and your own copies of the games.
